In September and in the first half of October the grape harvest (“Vendemmia” in Italian) season is underway all across Italy.
Also many grape and wine festivals are held in the wine-growing regions of Italy, in this time. They offer more than a chance of tasting local wines and delicacies.

“Festa del Vino e del Monferrato” (wine feast) in Casale Monferrato (Sept 14-16 and Sept 21-23). It’s a major wine feast.
