What Adriatic Coast of Emilia-Romagna brings in mind of any tourist? Sandy beaches? The well-known riviera nightlife? Federico Fellini? The unique 'Piadina Romagnola'? Maybe a mixture of all this which as usual can strongly diminuish the image of the whole area.
That happens when an area has a so 'strong label' to bear. In this case for example, the built image of the Adriatic Coast of Emilia-Romagna can put the inland sites in the shade. However if this area brings in the mind of people all that above listed, means it gained a supremacy respect other tourist areas.

Nightlife? The supremacy of Adriatic Coast of Emilia-Romagna in Italy is unquestionable.

Restaurants,  ice-cream parlours, disco pubs, osterias, and the most trendy discos in Italy, make the nightlife unique in Riccione, Rimini, Cattolica and in the other resorts of this area. Young people from all over the country flood  the Riviera Romagnola in the night and not only in the Summer, crowding the pubs, trendy discos, beach bars etc..

But the 'Riviera night-time' must not hide the day-time. The sandy beaches crowded of trendy people, the sport and recreational activities, the relaxation that Rimini, Riccione, Cattolica as well as the minor resort Torre Pedrera, Viserbella, Viserba, Rivabella, San Giuliano Mare, Bellariva, Marebello, Rivazzurra, Miramare, Misano, Cervia, Cesenatico offer.

Rimini is the largest city and most famous of the Adriatic Coast. It is the city of Federico Fellini, who chose 'the Riviera' as stage for one of his more important movies: 'Amarcord'.

Riccione, renamed the "Green Pearl" of the Adriatic for its exclusive atmosphere, is probably the most charming resort of the Riviera. Synonymous with all that is smart and elegance, with its trendy fashion shops, is frequented by artists and VIPs .

Finally we can't forget a few of the typical local dishes: "piada", "cappelletti", "tagliatelle", "passatelli", which contribute to the supremacy of the Adriatic Coast.
