Italian American tenor, Aaron Caruso, will be headlining a dinner show honoring St. Joseph and the legendary Neapolitan singer, Giusepppina Pane, at 6:30 p.m. on  saturday, march 29th, 2008, at the annex club, 554 Woodward Avenue, New Haven, CT.

»» Demonstration Cooking Class on Italian Easter Traditions in New Milford, CT

For those who would like to know more about Easter recipes and traditions of Italian cuisine, Silo cooking school in New Milford, CT, has scheduled a demonstration cooking class on March 16 with Chef Piergiorgio Nanni of the Osianna Restaurant in Fairfield, CT.

Crespelle with Ricotta

Chef Nanni is from Rome and has worked in some of the finest Italian restaurants in NYC and Europe. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu and recipient of the Italian Culinary Federation’s award “Chef della Migliore Tradizione Regionale Italiana in America” given to exceptional chefs in acknowledgment of their work to preserve the Italian culinary tradition in America.

The menu will include Campania-style Crespelle with Ricotta and Salami, Asparagus Bechamel; Black Olive Crusted Rack of Lamb, Sicilian Easter Risotto with chocolate, almonds and candied fruit.
