“Precious Cheese Ferragosto 2005″-6 Foot Cheese
This may sound like a tall tale, and it is. Six feet of cheese was spotted in Salt Lake City wearing stylish glasses, sporting a cool hair do and handing out cheese, yes, cheese. What, might you ask is a six foot cheese person doing in Salt Lake City? His name is Stringster and he’s in town for a very good reason, to celebrate the “Precious Cheese Ferragosto”.
Every year Salt Lake City’s Italian community gathers together for an event filled day of Italian food, music, dancing, fun and culture! This year celebrates the 3rd Annual “Precious Cheese Ferragosto” and Stringster would like to invite you to join him. Stringster will be at the Precious Cheese booth handing out tasty samples, gifts, and recipes on Saturday, August 20th at 10:00 am at 300 South 400 West across from Pioneer Park.
Stop by and follow Stringster down the festival Market Place, past the savory Italian Cuisine, to see the Italian Motorscooters and Classic Cars. Eat Italian Ice, play Bocce, get a face painting, visit Pinocchio Land for rides and games, then relax at the Precious Cheese Stage for a full day of Live Entertainment.
Bring your family and friends, and join Stringster for a full day of exciting events and Italian cultures. A complete, updated schedule of events, including dates, times and locations is available by visiting ItalianCenterUtah.com
